Eeeeek! 30!

In exactly one month, I will be twenty-ten years old. If anyone asks, though, I'm only twenty-nine. So don't tell anyone.
I'm looking for advice. Help. Guidance into the darkness. Does it hurt? Will I suddenly start acting.....ya know....grown up? Is it true that the warranty expires at 30 and everything starts breaking? Do I have to cut my hair short and get a perm? I really hate perms.

Hmmmm...since hitting 30 (am 31 now) I have realized that I look for gray hairs and find them (oh...except they are white.) However, I lie about it and say they are blond, which is ludicrous, since my hair is the color of coffee (and is long by the way.)

My body feels 90, so 30 didn't seem to painful, compared to how I feel some days. Of course, I never act my age and it surprises everyone when they find out I am in my 30's...guess I look 24? Ha ha...

Happy early Birthday!

Thanks for visiting. Wow you are a triplet too?! I would love to hear how you got along with your siblings growing up. Are you still close? Oh 30 isn't that bad. I am pushing 34 so I can say that now! I guess I also have more grey hairs, aching muscles and need more sleep. That could all be triplet induced though too. Happy Birthday to come! Enjoy it.

The big 30 is still two years off for me but I feel the fear already. I just hope I don't have to grow facial hair or anything. Thanks for stopping by

Congratulations--I had more fun in my early 30s than at any time in my life. I didn't feel anything with the body go until the early 40s when I gave up basketball--but then I was playing with college guys. I think I may start back playing this winter (in the second half of my 40s) in an over 40 league--age is all in the mind.

BTW, Michelle sent me and says hi.

I absolutely must comment. Girlfriend you should be celebrating!! You spent all that time in your twenties figuring out who you were and what you wanted. Now comes the confidence to do it. If you want your hair past your butt- do it. If you decide showing your cleavage makes you a little uncomfortable-don't do it, even though "everyone" is. You are just starting to get into your own groove. It only gets better.

I'm 70 now. When I was 29 my grandma came to visit. She said that if she had her life to live over she would want to relive her thirties. I feel the same. love Beth

Oh man, I went through the same thing when I turned 30. I didn't know what to do. Would people still think I'm in my 20's (hoping...) and would I be forced to say, "I'm 30" outloud? I'm 30 too, so I won't tell, if you won't, k?
